Experience coziness near the (turistic) center of Prague

Hyggeligt familie hotel. Husk, ingen elevator. Lille café, sælger kun kaffe og croissanter. Ikke ryger. Hele området. Der skal ryges på gaden.

I was hesitant to book Lorenz house due to the location, but location was nothing than perfect. Close enough to take the tram and visit the surrounding neighborhoods, walk around and just actually enjoy the city. But loved that the house is far away from Disneyland… Kim and Filip were great, thank you for accommodating my requests and for the amazing city tips. I loved Prague sooo much that I must come back in winter, see you soon my friends!

Piękny pensjonat, pokoje czyste, właściciel pomocny, blisko tramwaj i autobus, rano można zejść do kawiarni na dole i w ogródku z źródełkiem wypić pyszną kawę 🙂

We stayed here for a week, and everything was wonderful. The room was comfortable, the transportation was convenient, and the cappuccino with croissants was perfect (I always had two!). Great place in a very nice neighbourhood. Plenty of restaurants and bars around. The area is super safe! Everything was sparkling clean, my room was very spacious and comfortable (with a fridge and kettle), and there's a nice public terrace to enjoy the sun. Good value for the money!

One of the best accomodations I've stayed at! Very clean and functional rooms with big windows. Connection to the other parts of the city is very good, you can get almost anywhere with a tram number 22. The friendliest staff, wonderful and kind people. I even got a complimentary coffee and croissant for my birthday🤗 You can't miss with this one, and I'll definitely be coming back here when I come to Prague!

Most hospitable host, everything you need you have in the room, they even put a candle and gave my girlfriend a croissant and coffee for free for her birthday 🙂

I stayed 10 days at Family Lorenz B&B and it was fabulous! The host was so helpful and gave a lot of recommendations (plant based addresses as well since I’m vegan), the little coffee shop was amazing to have a cup in a morning before to head to the city. The room in the pretty garden was really cozy, renewed and clean. It’s near coffee shops, groceries, restaurants and transportation, very convenient! Thank you to the Lorenz family and I’ll come again!

Inhaber sehr nett und sympathisch, gibt tolle Tipps und Empfehlungen für den Pragaufenthalt. Bus- und Tramstation in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zimmer ist sauber, ordentlich und von der Einrichtung alles vorhanden (Handtücher, Haarföhn, Geschirr). Geschirrspülmittel und eigene Pflegeprodukte müssen mitgebracht werden.

Muy bueno en general, habitación con cocina, heladera y baño. Buena atención. Buena ubicación (transporte mediante, que no es caro en relación a otros paises). Buena relación calidad precio.

Not a fancy hotel but the price/quality ratio is good. Room was plain but clean. Good noise insulation, even when there was a raging block party outside! Wonderful garden where you can drink your morning coffee. Bus/tram stop was right next door, did not take long to get to the city center / old town / Vltava at all. Good restaurants in a walking distance. Nice park across the street. Mr. Lorenz et al. were very friendly and helpful!

Отель находится в хорошем и красивом районе, где много парков. Рядом можно найти много классных ресторанов, баров и кафе на любой вкус.

Kind hearted and open minded welcome. Planned to stay for one night and enjoy Prag. Ended up having a wonderful long talk which was absolutely worth it. 🙂 The palce is beautiful and makes you feel at home. In the morning you can enjoy a very good cup of coffee and fresh croissants. Very cosy and clean place. We stayed there for four nights. The only downside is the street. If you are very sensitive to noise, the tram might be a problem. But having public transport nearby is generally a plus.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Family Lorenz & Coffee House in Prague! From the moment we arrived, the service provided by Kim was exceptional - he truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The rooms were not only stunningly beautiful, but also impeccably clean, making our stay truly enjoyable. The B&B's central location in Prague allowed us to easily explore the city's vibrant atmosphere and historical sites. The convenience of having reliable public transit nearby was a major plus, making it a breeze to get around and explore all that Prague has to offer. Overall, We give Family Lorenz & Coffee House a solid 5/5 rating. The combination of great service, beautiful rooms, and a prime location made for an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return on my next visit to Prague!

Ich war zwei Nächte bei Kim zu Gast und wurde direkt bei der Ankunft mit Kaffee begrüßt. Das Zimmer war wie versprochen sehr ruhiger und gemütlich eingerichtet, besonders schön fand ich, dass Kim und die ganze Familie immer ansprechbar waren und viele Tipps gegeben haben, aber auch einfach auf einen Plausch im grünen, ruhige Innenhof eingeladen haben. Die Möglichkeit, Fahrräder sicher zu verstauen macht es noch angenehmer. Vielen Dank!!

Wir waren Gäste im Juli 23. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Herr Lorenz spricht fließend deutsch. Wir konnten unser Auto bei ihm parken. Auch unsere Fahrräder konnten wir bei ihm gesichert unterstellen, alles total unkompliziert. Mit der Tram vor der Haustür kommt man sehr zügig in die Stadt. Er hat uns mit dem Kauf der Tickets und anderen Tipps den Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht. Der Kaffee von Herrn Lorenz schmeckt zudem unglaublich gut👌. Herzlichen Dank und jederzeit sehr gerne wieder, absolute Empfehlung.

Bardzo miłe, przyjazne miejsce. Obok piękny park -- można godzinami wędrować z psami ;). Tuż obok świetne kawiarnie i restauracje.

Alleine schon wegen des wunderschönen Innenhofs lohnt sich der Aufenthalt. Ein sehr familiäres Ambiente und dazu sehr schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Wer nicht zur Straße hinaus schlafen möchte, sollte vorher einmal nachfragen. Die Gastgeber sind wahnsinnig sympathisch und man fühlt sich sehr gut aufgehoben. Auch Sonderwünsche, wie das Aufbewahren von Koffern am Abreisetag für ein paar Stunden, werden problemlos ermöglicht. Danke für diese schönen Tage.

Kim Lorenz hat uns freundlich empfangen und uns direkt wunderbare Insider-Tipps für die Stadterkundung gegeben. Das Family Lorenz & Coffee House ist ein erholsames, sauberes und besonders angenehmes Gästehaus im Stadtteil Vršovice. Es glänzt durch das Weglassen von Gäste-Kitsch und Überflüssigem und strahlt durch das wunderbare Notwendige im Detail. Mit der Tram- und Busstation vor der Haustüre ist es direkt an die Innenstadt angebunden - ganz ohne die lästigen Touristenfallen vor der Haustüre. Wunderbar sitzt man im Innenhof-Garten unter den Glyzinien in der Sonne. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und hoffen irgendwann wiederzukommen. Herzlichen Dank!

Kim is a super friendly host, who speaks fluently German, English and Czech. He did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We got a few recommendations where to go and what to visit. He even helped us to find a train connection via czeck websites and offered to pay for the ticket in advance. We had everything we need in the Hotel/our rooms and are looking forward to stay here our next time in Prague.

Wurden gleich sehr freundlich von Kim aufgenommen. Er spricht u.a. Deutsch, was uns die Unterhaltung leichter gemacht hat. Er hat sich gleich um unseren Parkplatz gekümmert, alles sehr unkompliziert. Unser sauberes Zimmer lag im 1. Stock zur Straßenseite, trotzdem haben wir sehr gut geschlafen 😁 Er hat uns gute Tipps gegeben, also einfach fragen. Er nimmt sich die Zeit! Der Garten ist wunderschön und wir haben hier morgens gefrühstückt. Es gab einen, wie wir fanden, sehr leckeren Kaffee bzw. Cappuccino und Croissants. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Gerne wieder.

Lovely place, very friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean and spacious. The best thing is little garden space. The place is conveniently located with easy access to the city by tram or a bus. Highly recommended.

Wonderful guesthouse with exceptional service and a beautiful garden courtyard. A tram stop is right outside. The room was clean and tidy. This place is family run, which is something exceedingly rare nowadays and really special. Kim made my stay in Prague very enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. My second home and my only home when I’m in Prague. Close to everything and anything. Tram 22 is my favorite tram and stops just infront of this accommodation.

Útulné, príjemné, milý majiteľ, super lokalita, čisté izby, odporúčam prísť.

Tento penzion jsme navštívili už podruhé. Poprvé před pěti lety. A shodli jsme se (se ženou), že pokud budeme opět v Praze spát, pak znova tady. Penzion z venku nenápadný, Vás zevnitř doslova okouzlí. Na malé, ale kouzelné zahrádce plné zeleně, chcete jen zavřít oči a snít. Pokoje jsou sice skromně, ale příjemně a dostačujícím způsobem zařízené. Pan majitel se o Vás stará s velkou pečlivostí a snahou ve všem vyhovět (navíc s ochotou a úsměvem). Snídaně jsou veganské, a i když jsem měl trochu obavy (nejsem totiž ani vegen ani vegetarián), pak musím říct, že byla vynikající! V penzionu vládne pohoda, ale pokud si chcete přeci jen trochu "vyrazit", pak stačí jen zajít do vedlejší ulice. Určitě si z toho množství barů vyberete. Pokud chcete v Praze zůstat déle jak jeden den, pak Vám tento penzion mohu jen doporučit; je blízko centra; 50 metrů je zastávka MHD a hlavně zde najdete ochotu, zázemí, pohodu a klid.

Super ubytibání,klid a čisto.

Z ubytování je velmi slabě slyšet doprava z hlavní ulice. A ještě by stálo za úvahu vymyslet jiné vstupní dveře a okna než ty bílé plastové s klasickými žaluziemi. Proč to píšu je to, že šatní skříň a stolek jsou úžasně retro, kovová postel to jen podtrhuje. Stejně tak je střídmě moderní s retro vybavením i prostor kde se podává snídaně. Nádherný dvorek jen doplňuje celé prostředí. Vegetariánské jídlo a čaje od orijinu, to už snad po tom vsem ani nemůže překvapit. Nadšení!

Very very very nice place to stay. We got everything what could be needed - big, clean, nice, quiet room. The atmosphere inside and outside the building is awesome , perfect to drink a morning delicious coffee or just calm down after long day in Prague. Additionally we got care and nice advices from Kim who was managing our stay. Honestly it is worth to be there, especially for such good price.

Fantastic and lovely accommodation in Prague! We were indeed very much surprised: Cosy apartments, all newly renovated, very friendly service, great area with lovely cafés and bars. You can reach the city centre by tram 22 and leave your car around the accommodation. We loved and enjoyed our stay at Lorenz' Coffee House and want to come back soon!

Sind mit dem Rad angekommen, wurden freundlich auf Deutsch begrüßt. Extrem zuvorkommende Geschäftsleitung und netter Umgang mit den Gästen. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Zimmer scheinen alle sehr neu renoviert zu sein, top ausgestattet mit tollen Betten und Bädern. Sehr gerne wieder! Lieben Gruß von den drei Hamburgern 🙂

This is a great place to stay if you visit Prague! The tram station is just a few meters away and you reach the city center in about 10 minutes. The owners are super-nice and spoil you with vegan treats 😉 The rooms are tidy and there is also a little garden and a terrace, where you can sit down to relax with a cup of coffee. Would totally recommend!

nádherná zahrádka a dobrý kafe!

Отличное место для гостей города. Чисто, уютно. Есть холодильник, электрическая плитка, посуда. В номере можно приготовить поесть или перекусить в кафе на 1 этаже. Приветливые и гостеприимные хозяева. Рядом остановка трамвая, в город добираться вообще без проблем. До автовокзала можно дойти неспеша пешком за 30 минут. Немного шумновато по ночам на улице, трамвай ходит и ночью. Рядом какие-то ночные молодёжные бары. Круглосуточные магазины тоже под боком.

Super! Ruckzuck bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Veganes Frühstück, daß sogar mir altem Fleischfresser gemundet hat. Der Chef spricht perfekt Deutsch. Super Kerl! Beim nächsten Pragbesuch gerne wieder.

Very nice accomodation. Very clean, comfortable and at a very low price. Downstairs is a Coffee shop and that is so nice for who loves nice coffee. The owner speaks English and German very well. You get to the tram station in less than 2 minutes and to the city center in 5 or 6 tram stations. We went there with our two year old son and the fact that there was a small kitchen was very helpful for us. I totally recommend it and would visit it again!

Hier für 3 Tage eingeflogen! Was soll ich sagen, es hat alles gestimmt! Hygiene, Service, die Räume, das Frühstück alles perfekt! Hier komme ich gerne wieder! Danke für diese tolle Pension!
